Most children join The New School at the start of the new school year in September.
However, there are occasions when children will join part way through the year and we welcome those children and do our very best to make sure they are integrated into the class quickly and happily.
Taster days are also available and we are happy to welcome new children into the school so that they can get a really good feel for what The New School is all about.

Fees
We aim to keep our fee structure as straightforward as possible. The fee for every full-time pupil is the same across the school, regardless of the year group they are in. The only differences occur when the child is part-time (in Class 1) or when in receipt of Early Years Vouchers (available for every child across the country until the term in which they are five years old). Mrs Ash, the school Bursar, would be able to help you with any enquiries regarding fees.
In the meantime, please look at our fee structure, which is organised into sessions. There are ten sessions each week (two sessions per day; one for morning and one for the afternoon). A full-time pupil is therefore in school for ten sessions. A part-time child who comes to school for five mornings for example, is with us for five sessions. In the case of part-time pupils, the Early Years Grant would then need to be deducted from your fees and this would be arranged via Mrs Ash the Bursar.

The working week counts as 10 sessions (2 sessions per day).
Please note that those children entitled to claim the Early Years Grant of £8.85 per session (2.5 hours), will have the relevant amount deducted when invoiced at the start of each term. You may claim up to a maximum of 5 sessions per week.
